Will the original surface still show?

The product is designed to leave a transparent coating. Texture and sheen may change, so test a small hidden area and let it cure before treating the full area.

Is ClearCoat a silicone sealant?

No. ClearCoat is a water-based clear sealant that you brush on as a thin transparent coating. Silicone sealant comes in a tube and fills joints, for example around baths, showers and window frames.

Can I use it as a clear sealant for wood?

Yes, on sound, clean and dry wooden boards. Test a small hidden area first, because texture and sheen may change, and let the coating cure fully before contact with water.

How much will one pot cover?

Each pot contains 100 g. Coverage depends on how porous the surface is, the thickness applied and the number of coats. Choose this compact kit for small, targeted jobs rather than whole roofs or walls.

How long does it take to dry?

Follow the curing time in the instructions supplied with your pot. Thickness, temperature and conditions affect curing. Keep the coating away from water until fully cured.

Can I use it on a running leak?

Start on a clean, dry and sound surface. This kit is not a replacement for repairing a faulty pipe, a loose gutter joint or structural damage. Find and repair the cause of an active leak before applying a surface coating.

Does every pot come with a brush?

Yes. One kit contains one 100 g pot and one brush. Three kits contain three pots and three brushes; five kits contain five of each.
